Itanhaém

Gastronomy

About 20 minutes from Casa Bopiranga, you will find the Peruíbe Municipal Fish Market. The place has a wide variety of fish and seafood, with good price, quality and the possibility of a good old bargain. If you are not interested in shopping, the visit also allows you to enjoy the landscapes of the Juréia hills and the mouth of the Rio Preto. For photography lovers, there are many possibilities for good clicks in this place.

Nature

28 km from Casa Bopiranga is the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station. With 84,425 hectares, it is characterized as one of the best protected and preserved stretches of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. There you can walk amid nature, photograph birds and bathe in a waterfall. To access the trail, the visitor follows the instructions of environmental monitors at the Itinguçu Center Visitor Center. The trail is 350 m long through the riparian forest, the attractions are Poço do Meio and Cachoeira do Paraíso, which are natural pools formed by the Itinguçu River.

Sports

If you are a sports lover, you are in the right place! In addition to morning walks, we recommend cycling along Taniguá beach, on the border between the municipalities of Peruíbe and Itanhaém. Taniguá beach belongs to an area of the Piaçaguera indigenous villages and can only be accessed by bike or walking. The place guarantees the tranquility of a deserted beach and many breathtaking landscapes. You can reach it in less than 30 minutes by cycling along the beach, towards Peruíbe. If you prefer water sports, we suggest taking individual surfing lessons at Praia dos Pescadores. It is a great opportunity to explore a new sport and, who knows, discover a new hobby, in contact with nature. If you are on the adventurous team, you cannot miss flying over the beautiful beaches of the city, in a unique and safe experience. The city is known as "the paramotor capital" and just a few meters from Casa Bopiranga you can book guided flight tours or classes, for the most committed.

Behold

Morro do Pernambuco, 7 km from Casa Bopiranga, is surrounded by greenery and has the sea as a backdrop and a panorama of the City of Itanhaém. It is the ideal place for a late afternoon stroll. The view from above is often indescribable. It is the landscape seen from above, the immensity of the sea, the noise of the waves and the smell of the sea air that form the ideal setting for meditating and contemplating moments of peace and tranquility, as well as great conditions for incredible photographs! Not far away, at the foot of Morro do Pernambuco, is the best place for sunset photographs: it is in the Anchieta pool that you will find the contrast between the vegetation, the sea and the rocks, which give the place its name, forming a large natural well and from where you have a side view of Praia do Cibratel.
