Among the tourist attractions, the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, one of the oldest buildings in Brazil, the Cama de Anchieta, and the Conceição de Itanhaém Museum stand out. It is the second oldest city in Brazil, founded on April 22, 1532. To get to Itanhaém, leaving the Capital you need to access SP-160 (Rodovia dos Imigrantes) until exit 57-A and SP-055 (Rodovia Padre Manoel da Nóbrega) until exit km 323.5.
